Orvis SSR Spey Disc - Fly reel

New Orvis Swing, Step, Repeat (SSR) Disc Reel is designed to match two-handed fly rods of varying lengths and classes. The reel comes in two standard sizes that allow anglers to fine-tune the balance of their gear. The reel begins life as a solid piece of aluminum that is then machined to tight tolerances. Crucial to the design of the SSR is the reel's unique porting. These gates not only allow backing and shooting lines to dry after rainy days. Everything about these reels screams stopping power, with a Hydros proven sealed disc brake that protects lighter troutspey size leaders on the lower settings, but can be cranked up to full power when the record salmon hit the deep water. A radially rounded roller foot allows you to store a leader around its smooth edges without damaging it.
