Control 3.0 is developed with the beginner and intermediate caster in mind and has a design that generates high line speed and good contact with the ghost ring during the cast. Learning to double drag is much easier with short lumped line like this, and the Control 3.0 is suitable for fishing with all types of flies and works well for both river and lake fishing. The taper is very similar to the Fario Tactical, but is a little shorter and therefore even easier to handle for fly fishermen of all levels. Control 3.0 is a modern short lumpy WF line with a long and continuous tapering front taper that is backed by a short even middle section which together gives good loading of the blade. The back tapering is of medium length and then transitions into a 3 meter long 'handling line' with a slightly thicker diameter than the shooting line. Both of these things contribute to making the line easier to handle on longer casts and allow a bit more overhang between top loop and lump. The slightly thicker coating also provides increased wear resistance in this area of ​​the rope.

The taper in the front measures 5.1 meters in class #5 and ensures a good transfer of the energy in the line as well as nice presentations of leader and fly. The belly is 2.0 meters and the rear taper extends over 1.8 meters. The main weight in the line is in the rear part of the lump, which loads the rod nicely at all distances. The line's rather short back tapering also makes it suitable for spey and underglove casts. Control 3.0 has a coating with good buoyancy and a smooth surface that shoots well. The line has a different color on the ball and the shooting line so that you can easily identify the transition between the parts and therefore make casting easier. The rope is fitted with small factory-made loops at both ends and has an ID marking about 50 cm up from the tip. The color of the lump is Pale Lime Green and the shooting line Sky Grey.
