Guideline LPX Predator - single handed fly rod

Guideline LPX Predator Single Hand Fly Rods is a special series for predator fishing for pike, zander, perch and other predatory fish. They have a well-balanced action and power resources that allow you to cast large flies effectively during long fishing sessions.

The action of the LPX Predator is fast and distinct but with a flex and curve that goes ¾ down the blade and lets you cast and fish big flies with ease. They have a high quality cork grip with extra length and a reinforced EVA front for added durability, the same type you'll also find on the Guidelines LPX Coastal rods. The entire rod speaks robustness, with only high-quality components and extra-large line guides in case a knot or tangle needs to pass. On the heavier rods in the series, Guideline even puts classic snake rings for extra strength and durability. The LPX Predator is available in five different models to cover fishing from perch and smaller predatory fish to large pike and zander in open water and rough conditions.

LPX Predator 9´ #5 and #6.
These are the lightest models in the range and the perfect tools for perch, bass and other smaller predatory fish in small to medium sized waters. Still very potent rods that deliver bushy flies and poppers with authority. The rods are equipped with two sturdy line guides and single leg rings.

LPX Predator 9´ #7, #8 and #9.
9´ #7 is a delicate rod for light pike fishing with thin hook flies, or when you need to cast larger flies for perch, bass and zander. 9´ #8 and #9 are the powerhouses for big fish, big flies and when conditions get tough. For extra stability, the rods are equipped with two sturdy line guides and classic two-legged snake rings.
