New Lamson Liquid Max, a real powerhouse. The Lamson Liquid Max features the same braking system you'll find in the Cobalt reel: an all-USA-made, stop-everything braking system. Featuring a proprietary Teflon alloy in the brake shoe, Carbon PEEK thrust washers, custom self-lubricating seals and is certified for IPX8 waterproofing. Lamson has housed this brake in a die-cast and machined frame and spool, with features including an Ultra Large Arbor, integrated roller mount and pocket-saving design for frame and coil that maximizes the strength-to-weight ratio. Top it off with a large, easy-to-reach brake knob, and one that performs well above its price tag.
