Fly fishing with Tenkara is something that has grown in popularity. A Tenkara rod is like a fly rod, but the line is tied to the top of the rod, so you don't have a reel. Fishing with Tenkara for slightly smaller fish in slightly smaller water is a lot of fun. Best of all, it's easy to take with you everywhere, as everything fits in the rod tube. Perfect for mountain hiking.
Zen Tenkara Suzumi tri-zoom is an ultralight telescopic Tenkara rod that can be fished in three different lengths, 7'7", 9'3" and 10'8". The rod has a cork handle that is 28cm and the entire rod weighs only 65 gram.
The rod comes with a sock, a spare top for the rod and a carbon fiber rod tube.
Note that this is only a rod and that a Tenkaraline, leader /tippet and flies are needed.
